"Talk Less" was illustrated using graphite pencils. I chose a head-on shot as well as two complementing adjacent 45° angle headshots to draw the viewer in and around the triptych portrait.
I wanted to take realism as far as I could go for my first attempt. The shades and blending were assisted by a Q-Tip and tissue. The highlights were added with an electric eraser.
