I designed a montage of video, songs, and connecting motion graphics to help express the spirit of the band and its band members, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, using the style from the time.I took a video of The Little Theater, a retro movie theater in downtown Rochester NY to add to the theme.
Research.
Eurythmics is a pop powerhouse duo formed by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, in the 1980s music scene. Fusing elements of pop, new wave, and electronic/synth music, created a unique sound that captured the era's spirit of experimentation and artistic innovation. They contributed to shaping the future of pop music with their boundary-pushing style.
Moodboard.
I collected a variety of graphics from the 80's to help determine the style I wanted. This helped me organize my ideas as well as gave me inspiration for new ones. I also watched old MTV music videos and talked to my mother to get the retro feel I was hoping for.

Target Audience.
The target audience is the newer generation who are unaware of the Eurythmics. Creating the updated promo music video will introduce them to older music in a new and exciting way. The goal is for the music video to spark interest in the band and get a taste of some awesome music too.
Eurythmics storyboard
Storyboard.
I created a storyboard to help organize each scene, with important transition points underneath.
Storyboards are necessary for planning the narrative as well as explaining the process. The sequential drawings I made from a story of how the theoretical system will analyze your swing and the order I need to film.
Animatic.
I organized my storyboard elements to create my animatic. This helps with timing the audio to the right image to get a better idea of the flow of the motion graphic.
